Regional Manager - China
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join IPAF to act as our country lead for China on a Freelance/Contractor basis reporting into the Head of Regional Development.
You will be based in China ideally in Bejing or Shanghai but candidates from other big cities such as Shenzhen and Guangzhou will be considered. You will work remotely but able to travel in China and abroad.
As the Regional Manager you will promote safety in work at height and use of powered access and be the key point of contact to manage our existing mem乐鱼体育appbers as well as building our membership base in country.
In this role you, will be totally autonomous and given the flexibility to manage your workload and diary to work most effectively for IPAF and its members.
Key responsibilities include:
Management of institutional relations and contacts in the countryBuild relationships with members and other stakeholdersVisits to members and other stakeholdersParticipation in technical committees for the development of relevant industry standardsRecruitment of new members and new training centresOrganization of commercial and promotional activities, such as exhibitions and eventsPromotion of safety in work at height and use of powered access (MEWP and MCWP)Representation of the federation in conferences and congresses, government and industry organizationsPromotion of IPAF training courses, within the industry of mobile elevating work platforms and mast climbing work platformsSupervision of marketing activities in collaboration with IPAF s marketing departmentRequirements:
Demonstrable experience in management or sales positions in the machinery, training or health and safety sectorAvailability to travel in China and abroad (approximately 25% of the time)Degree educatedTraining in Health and SafetyExcellent communication and writing skills.Ability to speak in public, as well as high negotiation and decision-making skills, and high attention to detail.Excellent skills in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookAvailability to work remotelyLanguages: Native Mandarin, English C1In return for your hard work, we will offer you a full time position with competitive pay rates, plus commission and annual bonus.
All expenses (Telephone, Internet, car expenses etc.) will be reimbursed on a monthly basis.
